RENEWABLE IS THE ONLY WAY TO TACKLE ENERGY CHALLENGES IN  NIGERIA.

Nigeria is very rich in renewable energy resources. Nigeria is endowed with large oil, gas, hydro and solar resource, and it already has the potential to generate 12,522 megawatts (MW) of electric power from existing plants, but most days is only able to generate around 4,000 MW, which is insufficient.

The level of exploitation of the renewable energy for the generation of electricity in our nation Nigeria is very low. The country only tends to focus excessively in the oil and gas.

The target of providing electricity for all by the year 2030 can only be realized by the full participation of the private sector and the support of the Government of Nigeria given them a good level playing ground.

Cresan advocate for more investment in the Renewable Energy sector to promote sustainable industrialization of Nigeria.
